The world through my eyes

I define myself as a scientific person and I see the world through the eyes of a scientist. As a biology student I’ve learn to see the world from a different perspective than yours probably. When I take a walk into the grocery store I’m looking for food that hasn’t been under certain procedures approved by regulating agencies but that I’m aware that could dangerous if I consume them. For example something so simple as turkey ham for your morning sandwich is a big deal for me. In my house I brought to the attention of my family the risk of consuming some kind of foods such as ham because of the preservatives they need for keeping the product fresh, instead of buying that ham I go with an alternate source such as fresh cut leg ham . I know it might be more expensive but at the end is better than getting sick. Also as a scientific person maybe where you see a handshake between friends all my mind is telling me is how many bacterias I can be exchanging with the other person. As a scientific I see the world more smaller and more complex than the rest of us does.

  4. Your concept of buying a healthier product, even if it is more expensive should be accessible to every human, instead of being so expensive. And you are right, the knowledge we have allow us to make more educated decisions because we know what can be done to have a better outcome.
